This is a beautiful piece! The belt sheath leave a little to be desired. I added a piece of closed cell foam to keep it from rocking and exposing the sharp blade and possible injury. (See photos) Easier than moving the snap, for now. it was sharpened with a double bevel rather than a single bevel they were traditionally made with. I don’t mind really and could change if I wanted. It’s fine for my needs. I will use for skinning large game. When I go to Alaska next year I’ll use the traditional and see if I wan to to change it.

The Ulu has a good weight to it and it cuts with very little effort. I just ordered the round bowel like cutting board to go with it. I will report back when I’ve used it more.

all the edges are sharp too handle in one’s hand ✋️ hurts too grip firmly in hand , will not even try to use it. I would like too return it… but looks great 👍

THis Ulu knife is gorgeous. Razor sharp so its important for everyone for it to be stored in its leather case. The case has a belt loop making it useful for taking on camping trips. Time will tell how sharp the knife will stay but happy with the purchase.
